O impacto ambiental das panificadoras no processo de desertificação da cidade de Jucurutu/RN

Resumo

Desertification in the Northeast is caused by a series of processes and climatic factors, having as one of its main cores the Brazilian semi-arid region. Over the years has been developing mechanisms to mitigate this problem, despite this ancient practices such as deforestation, agriculture and animal husbandry are still aggravating the problem of desertification. This work highlights the industrial food sector as one of those impacts that cause desertification. It is known that the food consists of many companies, but this research focused on a sector as the main branch of the bakery. The bakery in recent years had a significant increase in your economy, that due to increasing population and mainly from the demand of supply required by the consumer. With this increase the baking sector had to consume more feedstock for use as energy source, further exacerbating deforestation and soil degradation. That said, the main aim of this work was to raise, identify and analyze the reality of Bakeries (Jucurutu/RN) as the main environmental impacts generated. For that, being this exploratory and descriptive nature research, analyses were made of already published scholarly texts related to environmental impacts in order to investigate the viability of bakeries and your contribution to these, questionnaire applications with owners and employees of establishments to obtain data on the problem exposed. The results obtained show that there is a very high deficit in the educational level of employees and that the majority has no knowledge about the environmental laws and regulations. Whereas this research emphasizes the impacts arising from the bakery, it was observed that at the moment the mitigating measures taken by some of these establishments are related to the environmental scope more visible, such as the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. But, there are other bakeries of the municipality who do not use if either of these measures.
