Resumo

The deficit in basic sanitation services in Brazil is high, especially in rural and peripheral areas. In rural areas, the various factors are identified as being controlled by the insufficiency of basic funds, such as the lack of political parties and low levels of schooling experienced by rural communities. Basic sanitation of water and domestic sewage, as well as the consumption of water, water and sewage, water and water. In this sense, the study aimed to establish a relationship between the low and the Ursuline settlement pattern, in Caraúbas-RN. The settlement has about 186 inhabitants comprising 43 families in a territory of 15 hectares, being used to work in 18 family monitors, representing the families of the settlement. It was carried out the survey of data of consent of means of visits in loco, through conversations and applications of questionnaires, being an indicator of satisfaction for the health of the man that provides the consent and a socioenvironmental questionnaire on the conditions of sanitation of the settlement. Through the description of organoleptic can be classified the water of the water system as the hard and slightly brackish water. The settlement has no vectors of disease and negative cases is a sanitation failure. Finally, the results of the tests that the study community did of a basic health school.
