Resumo

The Brazilian Northeast stands on the national scene of production of melon (Cucumis melo L.), even suffering from productive barriers arising from the attack of insect pests. For the control of these arthropods are used various insecticides that entail environmental contaminants and imbalances to natural enemies. In order to reduce this problem, the search for alternatives that reduce the use of pesticides, which can highlight the use of natural enemies in programs of integrated pest management (IPM). One of the agents who work in the biological control of insect pests in the culture of the melon species Chrysoperla genanigra Freitas excels by voracity and ease of creation laboratory. Based on what has been explained, the experimental study aimed to evaluate the selectivity of pesticides commercially used in crops of meloeiro for the control of insect pests on larvae of First instar of predator C. genanigra, assisting in toxicological classification of products established by the International Organization for Biological and Integrated Control of Noxious Animals and Plants (IOBC). For the conduction of the bioassay, using a completely randomized experimental design, composed of eight treatments and ten replications each: seven [insecticides azadirachtin (0.024 g AI/L), abamectin (0.018 g AI/L), cyantraniliprole (0.1 g Al/ L), tiacloprido (0.3202 g AI/L), pymetrozine (0.25 g AI/L), imidacloprido (0.7 g AI/L), novaluron (0.05 g Al/L)] and distilled water as a witness. Each iteration consists of three first instar larva of C. genanigra exposed to the dry weight residue of your respective treatment. The experiment was kept under controlled conditions of temperature of 25 ± 2° C, 70 ± 10% UR and photoperiod of 12:00. With the completion of the experiment, it was possible to evaluate the parameters: duration and mortality in each stage of development, sex ratio and longevity of adults. The products have been catalogued in toxicological classes (IOBC) by calculating the total effect, where all the products tested were hazardous (class 4) to first instar of C. genanigra Freitas.
