Resumo

The drip irrigation system is highly vulnerable when applying wastewater, this happens due to the interaction of physical, chemical and biological agents that stimulate the clogging process, thus compromising the performance and efficiency of the irrigation system. Given the foregoing, the present study aimed to investigate the effects of treated water produced anddiluted in well water in changing the distribution uniformity coefficient (CUD) of effluent from non-self-compensating emitters. An experimental bench was mountedwith a drip irrigation system, which is divided into three drip units with three types of non self-compensating emitters G1 (NetafimSuperTyphoon - 1.6 L h -1), G2 (NetafimStreamline - 1.6 L h-1) and G3(NaanDanJainTalDrip - 1.7 L h-1). The system was supplied with water produced from oil treated with polyelectrolyte and diluted in well water. Valueswere determined from the chemical, microbiological and ,physical attributes of the treated effluent and diluted in running times of 0, 80 and 160 hours with the purpose of classifying agents that cause emitters' obstruction. After 160 operating the dripper units, CUD values were 87, 43 and 92% in thedripper units withNetafimSuperTyphoon, NetafimStreamline and NaanDanJainTalDrip emitters, being rated as good, poor and excellent, respectively. The unit equipped with the NetafimStreamline emitter was the most susceptible to the clogging process.
