Resumo

Analyzing the impacts of new technologies is a key factor before any implementation. Knowing which scenarios will change, if they affect the environment, the people involved in the process, the resources applied, etc., is to think about a sustainable revolution and prepare for possible corrections in the trajectory. This research, built on the main changes that occurred in the industry area, will be guided by the fourth Industrial Revolution, a name given in reference to the three previous revolutions and which will be analyzed, historically, the entire trajectory until today. This revolution, also called industry 4.0, has 6 implementation principles developed by Dais and Kagermann in 2012 in Germany. The pillars causing these changes are tools capable of autonomizing and bringing efficiency to the system. Like any revolution, Industry 4.0 has impacts of different natures, but the ideal for the implementation of this new industry system is that it achieves a balance to mitigate the consequent negative impacts, and these will be the points of discussion in this research.
