A história cultural afro-brasileira e africana nas questões das ciências humanas do novo enem (2009 a 2016)

Resumo

The history teaching in Brazil’s high schools, is passing by modifications since the Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio – ENEM, and also because the publication of the Law 11.645/2008 which makes obligatory the incorporation of various themes such as Afro- Brazilian and African history. On this, the objective of this dissertation is to analyze the comprehensiveness of Afro-Brazilian and African cultural history in the questions of the new ENEM, inserted in the area of human sciences and their technologies, from 2009 to 2016. As specific objectives, we have: identify how the object of associated knowledge, related to Afro- Brazilian and African cultural history, is structured in the questions of the new ENEM; investigate how the ENEM reference matrices related to the area of human sciences and their technologies approaches the Afro-Brazilian and African history; and analyze the history teaching perspectives related do Afro-Brazilian and African history. To carry out the research we used one of the associated knowledge objects: cultural diversity, conflicts and life in society, which contains, among others, this orientation axes: slavery and forms of indigenous and African resistance in America; the African people cultural history; the struggle of black people in Brazil and black people in the Brazilian’s formation society. The research was quantitative and qualitative, and was fulfilled a description and interpretation of the official documents and questions in the tests of the New ENEM, which was founded twenty-six (26) questions, according to previously mentioned sampling. To the data collected treatment we used the analysis of categorial content related to the research objectives. According to the data produced, we identified that the selected questions are structured with statements composed of textual fragments, poems, images addressing themes such as: religion, cultural aspects, economics, slavery, racial conflicts, afro-descendants citizenship rights. Like this, from the research carried out, it’s possible to concluded that the new ENEM has questions that discusses the Afro- Brazilian and African cultural history and problematize a theme that is very important in the daily history teaching in high school
