Fitomassa e estado nutricional do feijão-caupi sob salinidade da água de irrigação e adubação fosfatada

Resumo

The objective was to study the effects of irrigation with saline water associate with phosphate fertilization on phytomass accumulation and nutrient content in cowpea plants. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the Department of Plant Sciences of the Federal Rural Semi-Arid University (UFERSA), at Mossoró-RN. The experiment was performed in a completely randomized design in a factorial scheme 5 x 3 consisted of five irrigation water salinity levels (S1=0,5; S2=1,5; S3=2,5; S4=3,5 and S5=4,5 dS m-1) and three doses of P2O5 (A1=60%, A2=100% and A3=140% of the recommended dose 60 kg P2O5 ha-1), with 5 replicates, completing 75 experimental plots. The plants were cultivated with capacity of 8 dm3, until a flowering phase, and in this period, the experiments were collected for the determination of the phytomass accumulation and of the nutrient content in the aerial part. The irrigation with saline water above 2,5 dS m-1 raised the sodium content in the tissues at toxic levels, reducing the phytomass and macronutrient contents in the aerial part of the cowpea, with the exception of the nitrogen
