Resumo

The increase of the slenderness of the buildings, as well as the reduction of the transversal sections of the structural elements, now require an efficient association of practicality and precision in the new methodologies of analysis of the global stability of the structures. The demand for precise time and methodologies means that these analyzes are, on several occasions, negligencied in the structural analysis. The aim of this work is to combine practicality and accuracy with computational methodologies that enable the automation of global stability checking reinforced concrete structures using the parameters α and Υz, calculated according to available literature. In the process of automation, it was sought to determine wind loads according to ABNT NBR 6118 (2014), as well as to determine and verify a simple calculation methodology that provide the horizontal displacements in each floor due to the horizontal actions, and, finally, to classify the structure according to the stability parameters. It was also sought to verify the effectiveness of the methodologies adopted in automation comparing the results with the literature and based in EEM. Finally, there were several variations of results, both in relation to the different methods applied in the program and in relation to the structural change of the building, however for a given structural arrangement, the methodologies proposed in automation provides satisfactory results compared to those found in literature.
