| dc.description.abstract | O cotidiano da sala de aula e as práticas de ensino da Língua Inglesa na escola pública têm trazido discussões e provocado reflexões importantes no meio acadêmico por parte dos professores-pesquisadores. Essas discussões favorecem o ensino da Língua Inglesa e acabam por refletir a prática dos profissionais envolvidos. Com o propósito de contribuir com essas discussões, este estudo objetiva relacionar o ensino de inglês e a IA, buscando analisar o discurso de youtubers sobre o ensino de inglês nos vídeos disponíveis na plataforma YouTube em perspectiva intercultural, considerando o contexto de realização de investigações. Metodologicamente, é desenvolvida uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva tomando os discursos dos Youtubers como enunciados, interpretando-os como elos da interação discursiva. Posteriormente foram criadas (03) três categorias de análises que refletem as temáticas gerais abordadas pelas investigações a saber: 1) Funcionalidades das plataformas: 2) Potenciais usos das plataformas: 3) Limitações e desafios na utilização do Chat GPT e Character.Ai para aprendizado de inglês. Como resultados, a análise elucida uma concordância entre os sujeitos em relação à valoração positiva do uso da IA, devido às diferentes possibilidades de seu uso. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | The everyday life of the classroom and English language teaching practices in public schools have brought important discussions and reflections in the academic field by teacher-researchers. These discussions favor the teaching of the English language and ultimately reflect the practice of the professionals involved. With the purpose of contributing to these discussions, this study aims to relate English language teaching and AI, seeking to analyze the discourse of YouTubers on English language teaching in the videos available on the YouTube platform from an intercultural perspective, considering the context of research. Methodologically, a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive research is developed, taking the YouTubers' discourses as statements, interpreting them as links of discursive interaction. Subsequently, (03) three categories of analysis were created reflecting the general themes addressed by the investigations, namely: 1) Platform functionalities: 2) Potential uses of platforms: 3) Limitations and challenges in the use of Chat GPT and Character.Ai for English learning. As results, the analysis elucidates an agreement among the subjects regarding the positive valuation of AI use, due to the different possibilities of its use. | |
