Abstract
The economy is in constant motion, having its ups and downs, in line with the economic policies implemented by the government aiming at its good development for the betterment of society. One of the indicators of economic performance is the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) which is calculated from the sum of the goods and services produced in a given location, being municipalities, states and the country as a whole, this calculation is usually made. quarterly and annually. Including this GDP, we have the so-called aggregate demand, which is the demand for the goods and services produced that directly influence the economy at a given time and at a certain price value. Aggregate demand is directly linked to GDP when inventories are fixed, for general consumption, for government spending, for investments, exports and imports. This paper aims to analyze these indicators of aggregate demand using the wage-led, profit-led and export-led demand regimes, showing which economic policies had the greatest influence on aggregate demand indicators, consequently on GDP in the period from 1999 to 2018.
