Abstract

The software comes increasingly emerging as a tool to aid in learning in schools and universities, is the increasing integration of technology in the labour market or ease the use of these. The fact is that in the undergraduate courses of engineering, there are few subjects that do not use these tools. The present work has as main objective the development of numerical model of a software for structural analysis of Planar lattice structures, to facilitate the learning of students and teaching faculty, making learning intuitive, as well as assist anyone who has interest in structural analysis. For the fulfillment of the goal, was used the Python programming language and object-oriented programming paradigm, by implementing the method of matrix analysis to the source code of the software with a focus on the method of displacements, or stiffness. The software developed is able to determine the values of nodal displacements and internal efforts in lattice structures under specific loads and distributed. SAP2000 software and Ftools were used for validation of the results obtained with the program implemented.
