The present study aims to analyze the level of employability of the civil engineering undergraduates of the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid (UFERSA) at the Multidisciplinary Center in Pau dos Ferros - RN. The background framework addresses questions about the evolution of higher education and the employability of trained professionals; Labor Market Perspectives; Historical overview of Civil Engineering; Employability. The study is quantitative, exploratory research and had its descriptive analysis. The population involved is 64 graduates, and 48 respondents were sampled with the questionnaire applied virtually. It was concluded that the graduates satisfactorily evaluated the undergraduate course, more than half of the respondents are employed, and the majority of those who are already in the job market works in the major field, but most of them do not receive the basic salaries of civil engineering. It was also found that the Academic Performance Index does not directly influence the employability. It is suggested that other studies be carried out to provide a better basis on the subject since the findings refer to a universe in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte.
