Resumo

The spatial organization of Brazilian cities and their transport systems has promoted an uneven arrangement of accessibility. This instability is marked by the fact that motor vehicle users receive greater benefits when compared to non-motorized vehicles. It is in this scenario lacking incentive to the use of accessible, democratic and healthy means of transportation that the work proposes a planning for the implantation of a cycle system in a small municipality, having as object of study the city of Angicos / RN, identifying the factors that contribute to its use in this way and characterizing likely obstacles to its use. In that sense, questionnaires were applied to users and possible users, in order to identify the profile of the same and to distinguish the trip generator poles (PGV). With these data an analysis of the parameters of the routes covering the PGV was carried out, and through the methodology of Cardoso and Campos (2016), it verified the route with better viability of implantation. In the results the profile of the users and possible users of the bicycle was presented, identification of the minimum route through the Qgis software and demonstration of the calculations and verification of the stretches. Finally, a proposal was made of the bicycle system for the municipality, illustrating some parts of the route through Sketchup Pro software, with suggestions for improvements in the segments that will compose the system.
