This reporto of course conclusion, aims to describes the activities carried out during the period of the Required Supervised internship III (ESO III), and even discussing a patient canine diagnosed with endocardiosis. The internship was performed at the Veterinary Hospital – VETHO and Laboratory of Veterinary Microbiology - LAVMI, located at the Federal Rural University of the Semiarid (FRUSA) Mossoró campus - Rio Grande do Norte. The internship was developed in the Small Animals Clinic sector where it was possible to follow up on appointments and procedures performed on dogs and cats. The case was chosen from a dog diagnosed with endocardiosis and ICC. The patient, named Tião, a 3-year-old yorkshire male, weighing 4.7 kg and presented with an anorexia, where the guardian reported that the dog had cardiomegaly, coughing when exercising and at dawn of day sleeping and difficulty breathing. After anamnesis and physical examination, the animal was found congestive heart failure resulting from an endocardiosis. The auscultation of the animal was performed showing 120 bpm, 80 thoracic movements / min and temperature of 39.3 o C. During the procedure respiratory difficulty was observed. The diagnosis was made based on clinical examination and complementary exams. The patient was duly medicated with diet therapy, physical exercises and without the use of medicines, remained under medical supervision for a period of seven weeks we concluded that the supervised internship is a fundamental step for the training of a trained Veterinary Medical Professional. It is concluded that endocardiosis and ICC is a pathology, it has several nonspecific clinical signs, making it difficult to discover its etiology, presenting no effective therapy, however, care is needed to soften the patient's condition and improve his quality of life.
