Resumo

This work demonstrates the development of Knowledgemon Hunters, a georeferenced game with augmented reality features to aid the learning process and reduce the social isolation of children with autism. The game features characters scattered geographically in the real world, each character has an associated learning object that is defined by a specialist responsible for the child. The goal of the game is for the child to search through the characters to capture them and access the contents of the learning object. The validation of the game occurred with the participation of 10 professionals in autism who work in schools located in the city of Mossoró / RN. The results indicate that, from the experts' point of view, the game presents an easy-to-use interface and demonstrates a dynamic of easy understanding, and that it does not require much effort to use it. This demonstrates that the game has the potential to achieve the proposed goals.
