The study of the influence of agribusiness in the Pau Branco / Mossoró RN Site is indispensable for understanding the current configuration of this community, since it has an interdependence with this activity in both environmental, social and economic aspects. Thus, it was decided to analyze the main socio-spatial influences of agribusiness in the locality, emphasizing the expansion of this process from the acquisition of land and the impacts (positive and negative) from this economic activity. Methodologically, the research was based on a bibliographical, documentary and field review, becoming, therefore, qualitative. A priori, a study was carried out on the agrarian question in Brazil, the agribusiness activity, with its concepts and contexts and the public policies directed to the great and small farmer. For that, we used writers such as Fernandes (2014), Santos (2006), Araújo (2007), among others. Subsequently, from official documents found in the community, it was sought to gather information that would aid in the analysis process, such as the School's Political Pedagogical Project (2018), land contracts (1971), baptisteries (1975) and a magazine that portrays the local cooperative (2008). Then, through a form with closed questions, we sought to obtain subsidies for the investigation of the local reality regarding the land acquisition process and socio-spatial impacts from agribusiness. The results obtained in the course of the research, therefore, are placed in this work in a dialogical, critical and reflexive sequence.
