Resumo

This study aims to analyze the teaching process and Learning of visually impaired teachers and students who work in the teaching of Chemistry in public schools in the municipality of Mossoró/RN, besides understanding the Application and results of methodologies in chemistry classes is favoring the Learning of these students. In the methodological course, we used the bibliographic research and field research with questionnaires applied to five professors and semi-open interviews to four students with visual impairment, intending to understand how the chemistry classes are for This audience. As a result, it was identified that most chemistry teachers have difficulty working on new methodologies, claiming the lack of courses and formations, besides the lack of resources at school. It was perceived that the lack of methodologies related to the learning of visually impaired students is fragile, where it is understood the importance of didactic resources, the use of experiments, tactile materials, tactile materials in Braille, expanded materials, as a favor to a meaningful and quality learning for the study public.
