Influência dos investimentos em pesquisa e desenvolvimento sobre as vendas do setor automobilístico

Resumo

Amid a fierce competition, the automobile industry reinvents itself every time. This is part of the many demands and adaptations that the industry has to go through. In this way, investing in Research and Development becomes an obligation. Due to this scenario, this research aims to verify the relationship of R & D investments on sales of companies in this sector. The linear regression methodology (OLS) was adopted to see the relationship between the variables. The data were taken from the EU Scoreboard for the year 2018, but precisely 135 companies in the auto industry. The results indicate that investments in Research and Development positively influence the sales of companies in the automotive sector in the year 2018.
