Logistics is used as the main agent in the search for improvements regarding the system of physical distribution, storage management and product storage. Logistics in physical distribution offers effective tools that are applied, generate the results that managers need to have control of the use of the company's physical space and inventory. Proper storage of products coupled with good inventory management can, among other things, reduce the time spent searching for an item and report availability and quantities. The objective of this work is to propose a logistic addressing system to solve the existing problems with storage and inventory in a company in the metal industry in the city of Mossoró-RN. From the logistical addressing it was possible to obtain a control of the items in stock, and to reduce the search for the location of these products, allowing more agility and greater sales volume.
