Resumo

The oil well project goes through several stages. Initially a planning for its elaboration is carried out, in which a drilling phase is detailed. Among the main elements of interest we have the numbers of phases, probe load capacity, drilling column composition, type and depth of setting of the coating, type of drilling fluid and its properties, type of drill, feet and rotation on the (mechanical parameters) and the pressure, flow and diameter of the jets (hydraulic parameters), in addition to the definition of the location and the same with approved environmental licensing. The study of these variables results in a well project, with its objective and operational procedures to be followed. Optimize drilling is to choose parameters in order to achieve economical and safe drilling. This work was based on a study of a on shore well project in the Mossoró region, showing drilling with directional trajectory, vertical final depth of 670m and a measurement of 967m. The main objective of the project was the production of oil in the Açu formation. According to the project the main costs were borne by the probe rate, directional drilling elements, coating, cementing, drilling fluids and materials, transportation, among others. Finally, well designs must be well designed and executed, since the construction of a well has high costs.
