Resumo

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are technological means, used in an integrated manner, with a common goal. They are seen as a way to enhance the teaching and learning processes in education. According to observations made during stages I, II and III in the Ufersa / Angicos Computer and Informatics Degree, it was identified that the use of ICTs is still limited within the educational practices and interventions adopted by the teachers of the Municipal Teacher School Osvágrio Rodrigues de Carvalho, located in thecityof Santana do Matos / RN. Given this scenario, the research try to analyze the use of these technologies in the pedagogical practices of teachers of this school in elementary school. In order to achieve the objectives of this work, the following methodological procedures were used in this research: previously established questionnaires applied to teachers and students of the school, with the intention of drawing a profile in reference to teachers' knowledge and familiarity with the subject. use of ICTs and also of the student in relation to their use in their daily lives; observations of actions and interventions performed by teachers aiming to identify possible difficulties. After analyzing the questionnaires answered by the teachers, it was found that ICTs are present in the school and available to all teachers to use, but there is a shortage in the amount of these technological resources, as the few existing equipment are not enough to assist all In addition, many of the teachers do not feel comfortable handling them, as they have never had a training that would guarantee them the security to use these tools, being of paramount importance to them because, according to the teachers interviewed, the students They are more attracted when they use these resources in the classroom, pay more attention in class, participate more and, as a result, get a more meaningful development in learning that becomes faster.
