Resumo

Astronomy, since antiquity, dazzles attention for being a subject that arouses curiosities. Observing the sky has always been splendid in many cultures, which through their observations were able to describe a wide range of astronomical events and phenomena. The general objective of this study was to propose a didactic sequence for the study of the orbital movement to the physics and science teachers so that they can work with concepts of Physics using precepts of Astronomy, already in the first years of elementary school or in any other year of High School, specifically diagnosing the “subsunçores”, through a proposal in which the students demonstrated, through an essay text, drawings, graphs, concepts about Astronomy themes based on motivating words. The method used was qualitative research and its choice was thought out because it would be easier to discover, having direct contact with students and through the collaboration of the professor, the previous knowledge they had in relation to the curriculum component of Physics. The script for the instrumentalization of the research consisted of a descriptive interview. The intervention is synthesized in a didactic sequence, consisting of five workshops with a duration of fifty minutes each. The results show that most students have a fragmented and weakened base in relation to the concepts of Astronomy and Physics, also demonstrated in the interviews. After applying the product, some positive points can be highlighted, such as the inquiries and curiosity of students, with rich discussions, and another point was the massive participation of students. In conclusion, although some positive points have been pointed out in the research, it can be seen that the expected results did not exceed the expectations of the present researcher, mainly because he understands that learning is a complex process.
