Desenvolvimento e avaliação do protótipo do loop academic: um software educacional para o auxílio no processo de ensino-aprendizagem de programação introdutória

Resumo

This work proposes the development of the prototype of an Educational Software, denominated Loop Academic, aimed at assisting in the teaching-learning process of introductory programming in higher level courses, in order to define and perform a usability assessment. The thematic approach is justified by the problems faced in the teaching-learning process of introductory programming in higher education courses in Brazil, and more specifically in the Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid, Campus Pau dos Ferros - RN. Thus, was carried a survey out with students beginners in the programming, with later validation of the requirements, construction of low and high fidelity prototypes and application of a usability. The results obtained reinforced the potential of said educational software and directs to the development of the functionalities presented in the prototypes of the student module of the academic loop.
