Análise da viabilidade econômica e especificações técnicas de um processo de pirólise lenta

The constant search for viable alternatives to obtain sustainable energy sources through studies and research has been growing exponentially, due to this fact one of these alternatives has called attention because of the countless benefits in terms of energy generation, with the use of Waste Urban Solids WSU as the main source of this process by means of a thermochemical treatment called pyrolysis. The present work consists of analyzing the technology of the pyrolysis process as an alternative for final destination of the WSU, since this has been a major problem in all regions in Brazil. The main focus is the study of one of its variants, in this case the slow pyrolysis aiming at the energy utilization, by analyzing its economic viability, as well as the by-products obtained, paying attention to the environmental and social advantages when compared to other alternative processes and a correct destination. For this study a literature reviw of the process was made, some peculiarities of the same, as well as an estimate of gross income, economic viability and necessary equipment in the implantation for a plant of slow pyrolysis in the city of Mossoró - RN.
