| dc.description.abstract | A principal atividade agrícola da região do Vale do Apodi é a cultura do arroz vermelho (Oryza sativa L.), sendo cultivado com irrigação por inundação consumindo grande quantidade de água e adubo químico. Há água abundante durante todo ano no rio, sendo que essa água é proveniente da Barragem de Santa Cruz que abastece o rio. Portanto, por se tratar de uma cultura de grande importância para a região houve a necessidade de realizar um estágio a fim de acompanhar as atividades desenvolvidas numa área de produção. Assim, durante o estágio foi possível fazer o acompanhamento desde a fase de plantio até a colheita e também foi suficiente para detalhar cada fase de produção destinada ao cultivo do arroz. Constatou-se que fazer o acompanhamento de uma produção é fundamental para conhecer todo o seu manejo, desde o preparo do solo passando por todos os tratos culturais e até o momento da comercialização. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | The main agricultural activity in the Apodi Valley region is the cultivation of red rice (Oryza sativa L.), grown using flood irrigation, consuming a large amount of water and chemical fertilizer. There is abundant water throughout the year in the river, supplied by the Santa Cruz Dam. Therefore, given the great importance of this crop to the region, an internship was necessary to observe the activities carried out in a production area. During the internship, it was possible to monitor the process from planting to harvesting, and it was also sufficient to detail each stage of rice production. It was found that monitoring production is fundamental to understanding all aspects of its management, from soil preparation through all cultural practices to the point of commercialization. | |
