Técnica de recuperação de patologias em pavimento asfáltico - estudo de caso: rua São João em Pau dos Ferros - RN

The problems related to the pathologies and deformations of a pavement, most of the time, is related to its time of use or the requesting load from the traffic of vehicles. The pavement is a structure built on ground earthwork designed to resist and distribute the vertical forces from vehicular traffic, improve rolling conditions and resist wear. In this sense, the main objective of this work was to analyze the pavement of São João street in the municipality of Pau dos Ferros - RN, which connects RN-177 with BR-405, highlighting which techniques are suitable for the recovery of pavement in the section under study. With this, a volumetric count of the daily vehicular traffic and a photographic registry of the existing pathologies in the pavement were carried out. It was found that the floor of the chosen section really presents itself in a critical state of deterioration. The pathological manifestations are diverse, and can be identified with great ease. From this perspective, an alternative of recovery of the pavement analyzed was proposed.
