| dc.description.abstract | No ano de 2006 foi instituída no Brasil a Política Nacional de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares (PNPIC). De acordo com os objetivos dessa política, as práticas Integrativas e Complementares em Saúde (PICS) deveriam ser inseridas de modo preferencial na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). Diante desse contexto, em junho de 2021, foi regulamentada a Política Estadual de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares em Saúde (PEPIC) no estado do Rio Grande do Norte (RN) por meio da Lei Nº 10.933, visto que as PICS são ferramentas fundamentais para promoção à saúde com estímulo à autonomia do usuário, resolutividade e baixo custo. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar as ações e serviços referentes às PICS na APS do RN. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva com abordagem quantitativa, o instrumento de coleta de dados se refere a um questionário eletrônico aplicado a todos os secretários municipais de saúde do estado, no período de janeiro de 2022 a janeiro de 2023. A taxa de resposta foi de 62,3% (104 municípios), dos quais 48,1% (50 municípios) ofertam PICS e apenas 14% possuem cargo de coordenação específica, sendo 57,1% desses cargos ocupados por enfermeiros. Auriculoterapia e Medicina Tradicional Chinesa/Acupuntura são as práticas mais ofertadas, estando presentes em 74% e 24% dos municípios, respectivamente. A oferta dessas práticas ocorre em 60% dos municípios pela Estratégia de Saúde da Família (ESF). Em relação à gestão e organização, constatou-se que apenas 2 municípios possuem legislação específica. A principal dificuldade apontada (69,2% dos municípios) foi a falta de informações e treinamentos a respeito dessas práticas. Assim, destaca-se que a oferta de PICS, sua popularização, bem como a existência de profissionais capacitados e investimento financeiro ainda são um desafio no RN mesmo com a regulamentação da PEPIC/RN. Sob essa perspectiva, faz-se necessário estratégias de articulação entre a Universidade, comunidade, serviço e Estado, visto que todos os atores envolvidos podem se beneficiar por meio da aquisição de novos conhecimentos, bem como contribuição para promoção de maior bem estar social. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | In 2006, the National Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices (PNPIC) was established in Brazil. According to the objectives of this policy, Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PICS) should preferably be included in Primary Health Care (PHC). In this context, in June 2021, the State Policy on Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PEPIC) was regulated in the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) through Law N° 10.933, since the PICS are fundamental tools for health promotion, encouraging user autonomy, problem-solving ability and low cost. This study aimed to analyze the actions and services related to PICS in the PHC of the RN. This is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach, the data collection instrument refers to an electronic questionnaire applied to all municipal health secretaries, from January 2022 to January 2023. The response rate was 62.3% (104 municipalities), of which 48.1% (50 municipalities) offer PICS and only 14% have a specific coordination position, with 57.1% of these positions occupied by nurses. Auriculotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture are the most offered practices, being present in 74% and 24% of the municipalities, respectively. These practices are offered in 60% of the municipalities by the Family Health Strategy (ESF). Regarding management and organization, it was found that only 2 municipalities have specific legislation. The main difficulty pointed out (69.2% of the municipalities) was the lack of information and training regarding these practices. Thus, it is noteworthy that the offer of PICS, its popularization, as well as the existence of trained professionals and financial investment are still a challenge in RN even with the regulation of PEPIC/RN. From this perspective, it is necessary to articulate strategies between the University, the community, the service and the State, since all the actors involved can benefit through the acquisition of new knowledge, as well as contributing to the promotion of greater social well-being. | |
