| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a política de assistência estudantil dos primórdios até a publicação da Lei nº 14.914/2024. Objetiva ainda analisar as ações de assistência estudantil na Ufersa no decorrer dos anos e identificar os principais avanços e desafios com a publicação da nova lei, tanto em nível de Brasil quanto para a assistência estudantil na Ufersa. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida por meio de revisão de literatura, com ênfase em teóricos que discutem a assistência estudantil. Foi utilizada uma abordagem documental comparativa, com foco analítico centrado no Decreto nº 7.234/2010 e na Lei nº 14.914/2024, bem como, nas resoluções que normatizaram a assistência estudantil na Ufersa. A aprovação da nova lei representou um importante avanço para consolidação normativa, ao integrar programas preexistentes sob um marco legal unificado e de reconhecimento institucional ao formalizar práticas já consolidadas no âmbito das instituições federais. A Ufersa atualizou sua normativa também com base na nova lei em junho de 2025, trazendo alguns avanços importantes para a assistência estudantil. Entretanto, apesar das conquistas, permaneceram desafios e limitações, mesmo após a promulgação da referida lei, desafios esses sentidos também na consecução da assistência estudantil na Ufersa. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This work aims to analyze the student assistance policy from its beginnings to the publication of Law No. 14.914/2024. It also aims to analyze student assistance actions at Ufersa over the years and identify the main advances and challenges with the publication of the new law, both at the national level and for student assistance at Ufersa. The research developed is bibliographic and documentary in nature, with an emphasis on theorists who discuss student assistance. A comparative documentary approach was used, with an analytical focus centered on Decree No. 7.234/2010 and Law No. 14.914/2024, as well as the resolutions that regulated student assistance at Ufersa. The approval of the new law represented an important advance for normative consolidation by integrating pre-existing programs under a unified legal framework and for institutional recognition by formalizing practices already consolidated within federal universities and institutes. Ufersa also updated its regulations based on the new law in June 2025, bringing some important advances to student assistance. However, despite the achievements, challenges and limitations remained, even after the enactment of the aforementioned law, challenges that were also felt in the implementation of student assistance at Ufersa. | |
