Resumo

Is it possible to obtain a strength gain in the concrete by adding fibers to the concrete? The addition of residues to concrete is not very common, but the incorporation of residues such as sisal fiber or rubber residue from the tire can contribute to this property of concrete. In addition, the use of natural fiber may lead to the opening of a new market for this fiber, including an additional income for producers. This fiber is produced in the semi-arid region of the country, which is in the Northeast region, a region that requires all possible financial incentives. It is already tire rubber residue in the form of fibrosis and fits in part of civil engineering and is concerned with the reuse of materials, concerned with the sustainability of the planet, since the tire is a material that is difficult to dispose of and highly polluting. Thus, the present work aimed to study the incorporation of different percentages of tire rubber and sisal fiber residues in the production of concrete concretes. Resistance to flexibility by diametrical compression of different strokes was analyzed, with a different percentage of fiber addition compared to the reference streak. The results showed that the incorporation of these fibers favors an increase in resistance to the destruction of concrete.
